STARS Letter of Recommendation Workshop for Counselors

Join the STARS College Network for an interactive discussion with seasoned admissions staff and high school counseling colleagues about letters of recommendation. Admissions representatives from University of Maryland, Stanford University, Colby College, and The Ohio State University will share tips and tricks on writing effective letters of recommendation and how recommendations are used in the admissions process. 

Each session will be capped to ensure everyone has an opportunity to add to the conversation. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have about the STARS College Network and our institutions!

Please note that this session is meant for high school and CBO counselors at rural and small-town high schools or community-based organizations in the United States. It is not intended for parents or students, or organizations outside of the United States.
